I don't know how handy you are with tools, but after a co-worker laid eyes on my blue Aw he decided to paint his Dell Lattitude. He used to paint cars in a previous life. Anyway he took the entire thing apart and painted it Corvette yellow.
One pint of yellow was $40 plus another $10 un reducer hrdner, and then $10 for clear coat, however integreated enamel would look good as well. Anyway it came out great. Now auto paint is never the best paint to apply to plastic, but the fancier plastic urethanes were very expensive.
So I guess whwt I am getting at is you could find someone that paints cars, or DIY. Being an auto mechanic during college I painted a few myself and it's terrbily easy once you pratice a bit. Everything is in the prep work, but I could easily duplicate the paint jobs I have seen on the Sagers, the AW one looks a bit more complicated I am not sure what they are using but its pretty durable stuff.
