wondering if any body has experience with transformers in power cords going. I have a ZD8210 and the cord went this morning. the universals offered locally dont work for this machine. so i' pretty much stuck not working for a week while i wait for hp to send me a new cord.
after hp said i didnt need to send in the old one i opened it up to see if i could visibly see anything burnt out or anything.. but no luck..
the first part of the cord works fine (checked with multi-meter) but the light does not come on on the transformer and the notebook recieves no charge.
if anybody has any ideas shoot em on over.
