Hi everyone -
I have a question before taking this into a store and having it checked out (and probably paying alot as well).
My Thinkpad T23 went dead the other day. It won't start at all - no booting up, no power light when plugged in to power outlet, nothing.
My girlfriend has the same model and I swapped hard drives and found that mine works on her laptop but hers does not work on mine. so this should rule out any hard drive problems, correct?
Anyway, i found a similar problem here and have quoted a response:
Now, this worked the first time i tried it and was able to charge battery but then it went died again - screen went blank and now it won't boot again.
Is there anything else I can try before trying to get it fixed? Any ideas as to what is wrong?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

re-insert the AC adapter and see if it will power on. if not, try removing AC and inserting the battery. |
