htpc notebook choices

Hello,

I'm looking into buying a notebook that could be used to surf the web on my 50 inch plasma. I want it to be inexpensive, it must have a dvi-out port and must be small to medium in size. Any recommendations?

inexpensive HTPC = Asus Pundit, for $500 you can make that little computer do anything. its better to have a standalone HTPC and a laptop for mobility, laptops dont act well as a deticated HTPC

notebook choices

I looked at the ASUS Pundit and I like it a lot, however the pc that I have on my mind will be primarly used for web surfing and email. My dilema is that I have a hard time finding one that has dvi out and is inexpensive. I am looking at spending 600-700 if that is possible and dvi out seems to be exclusively on the expensive models.

Asus Pundit has a Radeon 9200 with DVI and VGA Out. i wouldnt be looking at it either if it didnt cuz my 47" Pana only has 1 HDMI and 2 component, so by common sense i would have to use an HTPC with DVI to convert to DVI and use the component for DVD and Xbox
