Not yet. As far as I know Acer is set to announce the 2 ferrari models at Computex next week. Pricing will follow and availability after that. You will probably see it in the major online retailers before the end of June.

Thanks, much appreciated.

Hopefully they'll have sufficient stock coming off the production lines to get a few review units out quickly too...

No way to know. Some of Acer's press pictures make the 8204's screen look pretty glossy:

It's hard to judge looking at those pics, actually. There is always a chance that they will sell two versions like it was with Ferrari 4K. But I don't think that they have new glossy WSXGA+ screen for Ferrari... It would be available for 8204 before, at least as the replacement screen, I guess. We'll see, but again - the truth about screen quality will leak when those notebooks hit the stores. First 8204 reviews didn't mention poor screen quality - some of early reviewers even praised the screen, which was totally unfair... Am I slamming Acer again?

BTW, It's a matter of personal taste, but to me, 8204 looks better than new Ferrari on those pics. How do you think?

If by "slamming Acer", you mean stating that other reviewers are wrong and not entitled to their opinion, but trying to suggest that you somehow *are* - well, then yes, you're slamming them.

Seriously - if you don't think other reviewers can be trusted, why would you expect us to trust you? If you expect anybody to pay any attention to your thoughts, then you need to admit that other people's thoughts are just as valid - and if they say they were satisfied with the screen, then they probably were.

The 8204 looks better from the front (silver trim), to me. The Ferrari looks better from the rear (glossy finish and red detailing).

Personally, I'd like to see a combination of the two.

I don't think that those early "press" reviews can be trusted. I would trust users' reviews reather. If I could read any concerns about screen quality I'd thought twice before buying 8204... The only "complaint" about the screen in those "reviews"(commercials?) was that it's not glossy (which wasn't valid for me - I prefer matte LCDs). I think that there is much difference between something like "I can live with the screen", "It's not so bad", "I've seen worse" and PRAISING it. Or maybe Acer prepared some "special" versions just for those reviewers... I'm almost sure that it's gonna be the same this time, so I'm really curious about USERS' opinions about Ferrari 5000 screen. Unfortunately, I have to wait a couple of months to read it...
