i8600 with 9600pro turbo and overclocking?

Hi!
I'm new here, and I have just ordered an inspiron 8600 with this specs:

1,7ghz pentium-m
Ati 9600 pro turbo 128mb
768mb ram
15,4" wuxga
4x dvd burner
60gb 7200rpm
Truemobile 1400

I have seen all these posts of people who have overclocked their ati 9600pro to higher speeds, and I'm wondering if you use normal cooling, or if you need some special cooling to overclock?

I want to overclock my card a bit, so games will run better, but can I do this with normal cooling?
And how high do you think I can go with normal cooling?

Thanks!

I had to pay extra for the faster drive, about 100$.
But I think it was worth it, because I got the overall price down by about 250$ anyway.

Overclocking isnt reallya limit for the radeon 9600 but its poor design gives it little cooling so your top speeds will likely be 370 core and 280 memory due to poor cooling open eosed and with a fan pointing towards it i get around 390 cores 300 memory

I saw one person in this forum who had overclocked his dell 8600 with ati 9600 pro to 392/312 (I think).
Do you know if he had normal cooling?

i doubt he could keep the system running long at that speeds. I tried it and it works for about 5 minutes then the temps hit nearly 100 degrees and locks up

Aside from the obvious 'my system is faster than yours' comments, are the speed increases noticeable enough with an overclocked system to risk frying your laptop?
