[HowTo?!] M675 - Get lower temps?! Arctic Silver 5?? Photos without heatsink? Pls!

Hi guys, I have the Gateway M675CS (P4 3.0Gz HT 800Mhz, 768MB RAM, ATI R9600 128Mb AGP8X, etc...) and I this note runs very hot, mainly the video card, EVEN in idle ... I don't have a "good" software to see the video card temp, but in "speedfan" shows something like ~62Cº (right now!) surfing...

I would like to know If someone knows what I can do to try solve this problem, I guess the video clocks right now are, Core: 344Mhz, Memory: 195Mhz. Would be one solution slow down by 10%, 15% ... this clocks?

I have already tried to manage the CPU clock but I couldn't find for months any software to do this.... today I saw a software called "Notebook Hardware Control", that says controls somethings (battery, cpu clock, temps, ...) of notebook. Then I downloaded and installed, for my surprise, the CPU clocks was show and there was option to select (battery mode, max performance, etc...), in the software the CPU Clock appeared changing but I'm not sure if this software is really working... unfortunatley the cpu voltage wasn't recognized.

Arctic Silver 5??

Well, I was thinking about put Arctic Silver 5 in the CPU/GPU to try get better temps, Is this action really recommended talking about notebook? Is there any image of M675 without the heatsink?

Thanks for attention,
cya!
