No, i dont think it is the fan because i heard it always, its like de high pitched noise i heard in others forums, but to heard it you must put your ear near the ventilation system, its like a chisp electrical or something like that its strange.

Sounds like the dvd rom to me... but if you hear it in the vent i gues your fan could be malfunctioning

But i passed all of the test and everything is fine, i hope it isnt important, another question is that if is right that the fan runs high when i am playing.

You have to go to the options and check DIMM and GPU temperatures

the last of the last, fangui seems to control two fans but mine only runwith the first fan, what means this, do i have a fan wrong or inspiron8600 only has one fan shared with cpu and graphis card.

Thank you very much

Hello, i am here again the itermitent problem still persist and it isnt from de system ventilation, its from the place where are the graphic card and the cpu, you only can heard it if you put your ear near of the power button anda if for example you load a web page in the moment that it appear in the display you will heard it, i think its like a vibration of the cpu and the cpu system cool but its dificult to splain it, anybody has heard it? it ocurs connected at ac and with batery too.
It apearss too when you do scroll in a web page.
Thanks

Sounds like the Video Card fan thats definetly under the keyboard near the power button you might want to have that card replaced since the fan is pretty stuck into the card

Man, that sounds like a physical problem with the hardware.

DM?

but for example the fangui shows the temperature as normal, and after playing for about 2 hours for example call of duty the temperatures are ok.

i had this noise with the replaced video card too, and they put me a new and the noise still persists but i dont think its a wrong video card its strange to explain, if i dont do scroll or open any window and i write like i am doing now i dont hear it.

Thanks for aswered

To aport more data, some people think it ocurs because of the speed step, if i disable it on the bios could happen something bad or i can do it without any problems?

The only moving parts under the system is the 2 fans and the hardrive, dvd rom drive
