LOL, you're complaining about a rebate from AW and comparing it to your refund from the state of Cali?

Maybe you should wonder why the State of California retained excess funds from your paycheck for the full year before you filed your return and received your refund...

Look guys - this has gotten a bit out of hand. I laughed at Hammerhead's photo posts because they are funny - and because they are vintage Hammerhead. I also didn't think he was directing anything specific at the original poster. Archalien's comments are uncalled for - you don't need to call people a moron, and then it's gone on from there.

Well, I just received a rebate from US Robotics after 18 weeks today...bought the modem before xmas. This is what I expected from them as that's what the rebate stated. It wasn't $300, but still the same principle.

I don't want you to feel that some of us are trying to be a$$es toward you, it's just we don't understand how you can be mad at AW for receiving a rebate.

Good luck receiving it shortly.

You too missed my point, of course I'm not mad about getting a rebate, what I'm mad about is the time frame and I don't see how any normal person wouldn't be. I've moved on though and accepted the fact that AW are being a bunch of uncompromising people.

Man, I was joking, but you are a crybaby.

You're the one that doesn't get it. You're getting several hundred dollars off your machine, yet you can do nothing but bitch about the time involved.

Why didn't you just not send in the form then you wouldn't have to be so damned put out by the time frame?

Do you sit by the microwave when you make your after school scooby snacks, and bitch that it takes too long?

I think Alienware should just cancel your rebate as it's causing you so much grief.
