Okay for those of you that had to send a system back for repairs etc

Alright some of you may remember I posted I got a bum m5700 and have been dealing with it like a month now. Well they decided to finally send it back to me yesterday after they had it for four weeks my best efforts to make them keep it. oh and to top it all off they sent it back ground so it will be almost 5 weeks before it is physically back. (which is way too long for a business computer too might I add, its part personal but its the computer I also do all my work on so I haven't been able to do my full job for a month)

Anyways, question is this and I want honest answers, how long did it take them to get you your system back when you sent it in for repairs/replacements?

I only don't want the system because if something goes wrong again and I have to wait another month again I will have no recourse.

Thanks Alien Steve if you did something, though I don't think it helped.

hrmm since no one wants to talk to me I have been reading people posts and it seems I am lucky at 5 weeks, if they fixed it...

There was some specualtion about the phase jump at the end of production. Mine did that too the 8 or whatever it was to 10 in a day or so. I'm willing to bet they didn't do a burn in, it only took em a week to build I really could have waited a little longer for them to do a burnin if they skipped it. Since their support seems to be inadequate to demand. I don't know just venting some frustration I mean I got everything I wanted in my M5700 and then it turned out to be a dud. It seems every other manufacturer has their share of problems of course maybe its just a laptop thing. I'm new to the laptop gig but my research here is makeing it very unappealing, if a desktop would fit the bill in this case I would just stick with my anchors.
Every desktop i've has has run trouble free its whole life and my first laptop died in two days
Then again I built my more recent desktops, guess I am spoiled dealing with companies like newegg when I got my CPU and it was opened which it shouldn't have been they managed to refund it and get me a new one in a day, which is against policy. Their normal policy is to have the certain items like CPUs back through their RMA before they ship out a new one, but because of a backup they gave me a refund and had me reorder . least that was the case two years ago. no thats not a hint but if you think its a hint take it as one or something.

yeah-- I'm responding to myself awesome!
