Does anyone know how the Nvidia 7300/7400 compares to a 256 MB Radeon 9800 pro?

I ask because the 9800 pro is what I have in my notebook now.

judging by the specs in your sig, i assume you have an i9100/xps gen 1. if i'm not mistaken, any nvidia 7-series should fare quite well against a radeon 9800.

9800 256MB > 7400 256MB due to raw power. The 7400 is still a 4 Pipecard.

true 9800 is an 8 pipe card.

I am seriously doubting the mid may release now since it almost half way through the month right now and no new news at all.
Just wait, it will come sometime this month. People doubted the E1405 release and it still came.

[Update - News]

Apparently this is NOT Asus made (or it could be but I will denounce stating speculation as fact).

There is alot of talk about the XPS M1210 replacing the Dell Latitude X1 which was based on the Samsung Q30.

If this is true, the upcoming Dell XPS M1210 may be based on the Samsung Q35.

I don't think so actually.
Coz this is the Inspiron XPS model , not a Lattitude model...
and I believe it's the successor of the 710m!

I remember currently all Inspiron models with MediaDirect function are lit in blue...

An Inspiron XPS? I know there is an Inspiron line and XPS line but not an "Inspiron XPS?" Does this mean they are getting rid of the two factions and combining them? 5/31 huh? At least that is a specific date and now I won't obsessively check Dell's website.
iXPS: as far as I know, you are correct that all Inspirons now have the blue media buttons...

I guess it's a personally choice that Fear feels a bit strongly about...

I agree, I don't like it there either - all my small notebooks currently have it there, it's something I can live with but would be far better suited to round the side of the laptop.

this is a 13'' chassis with a 12'' screen......how stupid.....look at the humonguous border..and that is how they can fit the 7400...just like all 13" can......
