lol. Yup, you've got it man.. Most people "arnt" as smart as you.. That was a lie. However, most people AREN'T as arrogant as you are, so you do come out on top for something. BTW - That argument (I say argument for lack of better wording.. I know there was no real "arguing") about the 7400 being a 6200/6400/7400 made me laugh.
i thought i saw somewhere that this was an Asus designed laptop. does anyone know anything about this?
I guess I should have been more specific. The 7400 is a slightly higher clocked 6200.

am i the only who noticed a dedicated card in a 12 inch labtop? this is a significant deal. i doubt the 12' will ever be seriously considered a gaming labtop. jeez why would you spend double the price for something alot slower for strictly mobile gaming anyways? a dedicated card is a big step up for the true 'mobile' users. dell and many other companies made it clear 12' labtops were not intended for gaming. however having a dedicated card is a major step up for the thin and light..... but then again using the name xps suggests otherwise. marketing gimmick............ i'm bored when is this bitch coming out. hahhahhaha

Yeah. I have my trigger finger on a 2 Ghz Sony SZ-140 but I would kick myself if this thing hits the states before June. I want my "Labtop" now, but I guess anticipation is half the fun...Here's hoping Memorial Day...

also waiting for M1210
I know its going to sound stupid but... the specs or not so great compare to a e1505..and its a xps...
Dellwind: True, but keep in mind that it's a 12". And a 12" with dedicated video graphics, that somewhat qualifies it as an XPS.
Why is it not in the rules when you sign up you have to be aware its Laptop not Labtop.. you put it on your lap, not your lab.

Maybe 'cos labs are typically air-conditioned...? Put some laptops on your lap and they fry themselves or explode in a fiery blaze...

Just a thought.

If I wanted something bigger I would get a Proportable MX, not an e1505.

I think the price will be between 1100-1500
depends...
can someone check if it came out in Japan?
i dont see why it would be more than 1100-1500, thats exactly where the apple macbook is around, and they pretty much have the same features... but ill compare the prices when they come out and get the cheaper. oh yeah and also, if they are the same prices and one comes with a better deal(like apple gives away a free ipod with purchase in june sometime hopefully) or dell actually puts out a good coupon ill go for it

So if you can convert 139,980 Yen that should give you some idea. ($1242 U.S. must be the barebones system) So yeah, they seem to available right now in Japan. You can even click on some of the links of the above post to configure your M1210...if you only knew Japanese...(sigh..)
yeah, I figured it would be around $1600 for everything upgraded to a reasonable level...
