I was curious how you would do the said operation. I've tried print screen and pasting as well as some software from download.com. anyone have and specific programs they know of that can do it?

thanks

Most media players use 'Overlay' mode to display video. This mode is invisible to screen capture and TV Output. Either turn off acceleration, or use a player with a snapshot button (Power DVD and VLC, for example).

Fraps is another option. It'll screenshot anything.

Fraps should work or if you have winDVD it has a screenshot option as well.
