that just really pushes my buttons when they have the xps setup for docking and than do not offer it in the 9400 i dont know why but i dont feel like walking into a meeting with an xps laptop and i dont feel like getting a laptop without a docking station and that is my conundrum.

Then get a latitude...they all can use the d/dock. and if you must have a 17" then go with the precision m90

Here are some more pics!!

Sorry about the picture quality but I used my camera phone. Also the feel overall is good, seems sturdy. BTW bigfatdummy Apocolypse Now is my favorite movie of all time and the "Can you smell that?, that's the smell of victory" by Robert Duval is classic.

I just downloaded 3dmark05 so I will have scores later today when I get home. I see there is a 3dmark06, why are people using 3dmark05 more?

Sweet, congrats!
hey thanks for that precision m90 suggestion it looks pretty sweet and it looks like the 9400 chassis anybody know if the graphics card is interchangeable with the nvidia 7900gtx or is that quadro a pretty good card.
how much bloatware do u see installed on it??
I bet black is going to look even sweeter. I'm not blown away by the red lid, kinda playskool looking.

Hey folide,

How is the screen on it? Any light leakage or uneven light? Would be cool if you could post some pics of the screen from different angles, and with a black wallpaper. Thanks

P.S. And who is the guy who received an oc able xps? Could you mention his name or his post? His bios and a few other details might be of good use later

I will take better pictures with a digital camera when I get home. It has the same bloatware as the M170 I purchased last week. I actually like the red cover. It will be sitting on my coffee table most of the time so I do not need it to look professional. If I wanted a professional laptop I would have purchased a M90 or 1705.
