go7800gtx users using nvidia 83.40s if u want godfather without disabling VMR

Thread Starter
I installed the go7800gtx drivers that nvidia has which are 83.40s and they do infact run godfather without having to disable any settings or anything!

Also anyone have these tried Oblivion with HDR to see if screen going black problem resolved? (although i think a patch will fix this problem)

Also when installing thse drivers it will say no device found and will quit out
HOWEVER
Just go and install drivers using the device manager and update driver.
It should have exclamation and call it VGA or something like that.
Point to where the installed extracted to which is default C:/NVIDIA
and it will find go7800GTX drivers click next and yes when it shows warning.

Also make sure to use Coolbits or your program of choice to unlock all nvidia settings.

it probably didn't find your graphics card because u installed the desktop drivers. u need to download special 7800gtx GO drivers to get it to work. check out laptopvideo2go or tweaksrus for some real drivers.

oops, p.s. these drivers already have the settings unlocked so no need to use coolbits

no they were go7800gtx, its just an issue similar to EA games not installing b/c of Directx sensing part not working for everyone. Also when i installed not everything was unlocked for me such as O/C tab and tab that has option to disable VMR
