Hi here
New on this forum. Something terrible's happened to my laptop. It was working on thursday night. I shut down properly, no problems. Turned it on yesterday morning and it worked until I turned on my itunes. All of a sudden, it makes some weird sounds and then went off with a blue screen that said to uninstall any new hardware or software. I thought it was nothing so I tried to restart but it wasn't booting my harddrive.
Went into the bios set up. Everything is alright. It sees my hard drive, no problems there.
I put in my recovery disc and went through the options. Naturally, I pressed R to repair. Now, I don't know why it shows this message:

"Set up did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer. Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disk related hardware configuration is correct. This may involve running a manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or setup program."

I do not want to format my hard drive because, I am one of those idiots who don't back-up (Neeless to say, I've learnt my lesson) and all my life is on it and well, I'm supposed to graduate in a couple of months. My major project which is in in about 2 weeks is all I need at the moment. I've put in a lot of work and can not afford to lose it.

Help anyone, please. I am sad
