8600 heat mod link

Hi everyone, I have a 8600 with the 9600 pro trbo video card and i`ve noticed some people discussing a heat mod that works well in keeping the cards heat down. I tried searching the forum numerous times but can`t find the thread that describes how to perform this mod. Could someone post a link to the the thread that describes the mod as it would be most appreciated. thanks in advance..

Does anyone know where I can purchase the copper plates at? I've already been to 8 hobby shops, and 6 metal surplus shops. The metal shops either dont have the thickness that I need or have a minimum purchase requirement.
