Hey guys, im in need of a laptop but I need some help.

I don't need a gaming machine, but I would like to be able to play some games on it. My question is can I get a laptop under 800.00 that can run say...

Star Trek Bridge Commander
Counter Strike
Maybe even Battlefield 2

If these are un realistic, can you suggest some setups that might get me some game playabliity

You wont be abe to get a laptop for under 800 that will be able to play bf2 with any real framerates nomatter what settings. For cheaper laptops, you must go with integrated graphics and that wont do for any real gaming. You best chance is getting it used, look for something with decent graphics.

Mystery, the man asked a fair question which didn't require sarcasm as a response. Without bothering to answer his question, you simply mocked him - not a helluva lot of help.

I'm not a gamer, federation, so can't really suggest a machine for you, either, but would guess you might find a deal on a used rig in the FS forum.

I deffinatley think its possible to play bf2 on an 800 dollar laptop, so mystery, chill out...

I got my 6000 for 950, and it plays bf2 well enough to have fun playing it, so im sure 150 less than that can be achieved on some models.
