playing games on my compaq

i am realizing that i will not be getting an alienware for a long time so for now i was going to get a 512 stick of ram and a 128 ati radeon gpu for my compaq. my compaq currently has only 256 ram and a 32mb gpu, the processer is an amd 2.0 ghz. i was wondering how my compaq will play with the ati and the 512.

i have a dell with 640 MB of RAM(1 x512, 1 x128) and the radeon 9800 pro.

plays games pretty well although all i have played on it is rise of nations, temple of elelmentel evil, and nba live.

but all work veyr well...

oh also it is a p3 1.7ghz

My last laptop which was a Compaq had very responsive JBL (enclosed) speakers. Not sure about your model, but the one I had did not have the option to upgrade the GPU. I suggest maxing out the memory.

oh yeah i dont know if i can upgrade mine its a compaq
S3200NX does anybody know if this is has an upgragable gpu?
