Any help please... Caps Lock key just fell off... warrantee just expired

Well, its been a great first year w/ my 9300, no problem really until now...

I think my warrantee just expired, need to double check, but its close...

My wife just said the warrantee extension papers just came in but they wanted like $300 for another 2 years... i didn't do it

It looks like its not broken, just came off some how? I noticed it was on a little crooked, and I moved it around and off it went...

Any suggestions on how to try and reattach it before I follow the Dell customer support hotline for hours...

Hey! Guess What!! It just stuck back on again!!! I got a little frustrated there and pushed it down hard, and snap, it popped (i hope i spelt that right) back on.

ha, cool, glad you got it resolved.

If worse came to worse, you could have jusr ordered a new keyboard from dell, they're inexpensive.

Yeah, as long as nothing breaks they clip on and off really easily...

ya but the clip thing gets used quickly, so itll start to fall of more often. Ya, keyboards are cheap .

Bal'thazar and I were talking about selling the keyboards for our model of notebooks, I don't know how far he's gotten with that idea though.

Either way, they are cheap. However, the palmrests, to my understanding are not, anyone know?

I'm not sure how cheap palmrests are, but i can guarantee if you sell them cheap enopugh, it would be a good opportunity. If the people on here could repace the ugliest part of their notebook for say 15 bucks, im sure most would, as it makes the laptop look pretty bad

From what I remember they are quite a bit more than $15, remember that they come with the touchpad too...
