sorry dtek but you'll get negative responses. you kinda did everything wrong. this is the wrong forum and you have to put a price on something you want to sell.

good luck!

Dear Everyone, This doesn't seem to me like it's an actual 'For Sale' thread. He's just asking what it's worth, which I'm pretty sure is legal in all forums - with the exception of the 'For Sale/For Trade' one. As for what its worth, well.. Probable not enough to make you want to sell it any more. Unfortunately the value has dropped quite a bit with the new releases, etc.

hey

I was more intrested in what its worth rather than than selling it

so thanks,

I think one of these must be worth £900/$1500

what do you think?

I’m sure I can get this if i find the right buyer, perhaps not to the super laptop savvy crowd though

Heh.

It was edited. Originally it was for sale, and, he stated that anyone would like to have a computer like this.

So, heh.

Hes asking what he can get for it. Not a FOR SALE item. Even if he changed it, its changed. Leave it alone.

Snitch.

The best place to check is eBay - completed auctions. If you should sell on eBay you may want to go with a very low minimum bid and no reserve. I sold my last i8600 on eBay with a $1 minimum bid and no reserve and got over $1500 for it (this was last about a year ago). Had a put a high minimum bid and/or high reserve I am not sure I would have done so well.

Excellent advice.

I will throw in mine. Ebay - you will get little more money because thats just how it works. For a good sale, list all the features. Don't get super technical and put tons of specs. It's a turn off for shoppers. People don't read either. So note the specs at the very top and BOLD it. Keep it simple, yet give everything you can on it.

PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES... sell products. Front, back, side, bottom, on, off.. etc etc. People want to be reasured of the product they are buying. Without being able to touch it and see it in person, pictures SPEAK VOLUMES!

Again, dont get fancy with the auction. Keep it simple, list the specs, be honest and have pictures. Offer an incentive. Like a buy it now price that people can use that includes FREE SHIPPING. Or buy it now and get half price shipping. Stuff like that.

Good luck with it!

Snitch?

I haven't reported anyone to anybody, what's your problem?

What are you doing, posting in each thread I post in?

And, it wasn't changed when I posted my first post anyway. Can't you read time stamps? How come, gee golly I wasn't the only one to reply about selling on this subforum? How come, you're only targeting me? How come you're not getting on GZS's case?

Quit targeting me, after all, don't you have some rep whoring to take care of?

Not targeting. It was at the top of the list for reading. I replied. Don't flatter yourself
