It started yesterday, May 1st. I had my laptop on overnight basically doing nothing, I was just logged on AIM. then I played some CS 1.6 and later some WoW. And at some point my laptop just turned off, it seems like it may be an overheating issue but I've never had that problem before and I've had it on for 4 or 5 days while downloading at least a gig of stuff and then played CS: Source and HL2 in 1900x1200.
One more thing I should add, when I take out the power adapter it seems to run fine... I actually think I know what the problem might be, I went over to my friend's house and he hooked up my power cord to his extension chord / surge protector and it blew it. He said he noticed a spark, I did experience a random shut off after I came home that day... Could that be the problem?
Thanks in advance
