3 different notebooks, no problems = rocks.

Customer support = sucks.

Countless notebooks/systems purchased from Dell. All great, no major problems.

Home Customer Support (Including XPS) = blows!

Depends on who you talk too!!!

the average customer service representative from india suck big time,

if you get to the manger level Dell rocks!!!

can't really say more had several replacement systems and it depends on who you deal with to what sort of service you get.

Compared to my other experinces with "other" companies I say that Dell is near the top. But then again I'm fairly easy going and understand that sometimes problems happen. "if your not part of the solution your part of the problem!!"

Overall, you get the most value with dell, given the money you put up. You can't have everything, although I'm sure Dell is trying. But often I think that if their Customer Care were to get better it would involve more cost, raising the actual price of the notebooks all togehter.

Perhaps they should allow the customer to pay more for a better Customer Service Support. Or Technical Support. But I really love my Dell ON site Repair I have with them. Yeah it might take 30 mins or so to settle something over the phone, but at least I'm getting a 80-100 dollar part covered to my door, the very next day.

I've never really had a bad experience with Dell...

It was a bit of a mission to order the thing, but I've had no problems that reinstalling Windows didn't fix with my machine since I got it last september. Excellent build quality, excellent features, excellent components...can't fault it.

A friend of mine has a Fujitsu-Siemens machine and there's always something random wrong with it. He's reinstalled Windows on it seven times, three times in the past week. I do believe you get what you pay for...I mean, sure Dell are cheap, but at the same time their machines are damn good.

so i didint get them in a month because the n52 was backorderd than the week later i got the keyboard but not the n52 because backorderd.

Dude if we didn't have CHEAP india service, how would we get all those discounts and coupons

I've always had great luck with Dell, which includes 3 notebooks, 1 desktop, and I recently just purchased my first Dell printer (Dell's photo all-in-one printer 964)

whenever I have contacted Dell customer support, they always seem to make sure they solve any issues or make a courtesy offer like concession coupons or free shipping
