quick quick Cheap hard drives!

The western digital ones.. 320GB for $160 + Tax.

Had a 100 dollar coupon and got it for $63!!!
Its cheaper than the 250gb one!

I thought that is quite a good price!

Don't know how long it will last!!

P.S. I know its not technically a 17inch laptop but you guys ahve all been so helpful just trying to return the favour!

even if that's a price error you can get a 400GB drive and a do-it-yourself enclosure for less. not counting your $100 coupon but that's not something everyone has :P

I have 400gb SATA hard drive, where is te best place to get an external sata/firewire enclosure?

You could always go this route:

eSATA PCMCIA (LINK)


eSATA Enclouser (LINK)



eSATA Hard Drive (Link)


Then put it all together yourself. And end up with a HD that is as fast (Or faster if you get a 10krpm or 15krpm) as your internal HD.
