M90 Benchmarks

hi all,

I just recieved my m90 and though you all would like to see a spread of benchmarks. I have two sets, one from my 9300 and one from my M90.

P.S. This was with the M90 in stock configuration. All I did was install the benchmark softs and then ran them

Yes, but this is without any OC'ing of any sort. I'm sure it could go almost to 10k

Yes, ZYB has hit 9700ish with minimal OC and for future proofing 3Dmark 06 is going to tell a more accurate (as accurate as a benchmark can) story.

What drivers do you recommend? I'll get them and try them out.

I tried the 84.56 xtreme-g drivers from tweaksrus.com and it won't load "can't find hardware" error. Any ideas were to go next?

I'm just using the Stock drivers with coolbits. I"m rerunning the benchmarks now with the OC'd settings

It seems as these drivers won't hold the OC settings so I'll have to wait until I get a hold of some drivers that will

As ZYB stated in his overclock thread, these cards are speed locked in the vBIOS like some of the previous cards. In order to over clock you will need to follow ZYB's instructions found here:

interesting read. I'm not so sure I really want to do that since I'm not a heavy gamer. So perhaps someone else with an m90 will take the plunge

edit: if it's any help. The optimal frequencies for my card were 564/734 (up from the stock 500/600). I'm not sure how much improvement that would offer in my scores.

You might try one of these..they support most quadro cards although the 2500 isn't listed yet. 7900gtx is though...

I haven't tried any games yet. I am reinstalling all of my software, which could take up to a day to install. I have lots of programs I use for work so those are more important. I do have farcry and Doom3 (sorry I'm not current), so when I get a chance I'll post some FPS results on those

wow those are amazing scores. It will be interesting to see how they compare to actual gameplay. The 3dmark scores are right up there equal with the 7900gtx. Awesome and great purchase! try to get some doom3 timedemo benches. You just control alt tilda, then type "timedemo demo1" and do that twice because the first one is not cached.

Kewl dave, I'll do that Tomorrow though after my Chem final . And in case anyone is wondering, the M90 DOES NOT have the dell media functionality. So no starting up just to play movies I'm going to try and install it like I did on my 9300 and see if that works, but I doubt since it does nothing when I press any of the buttons when it's shut down (except for the power button that is )
