GPU Fan turns on at 80 c?

Well it seems the fan doesnt turn on untill 80 c on idle and in games then it brings it back down to 70 then it goes back up again then the same cycle starts over. The card itself runs very stable, never locks up when running games for a long time.

Is this normal?

Ya, but i would recommed you that dowload i9kfangui 2.3 beta3 build 4 or newer (core duo not supported by the autor until 2.4 release, but it works).

Set the automatic config fans for slow, and you will see the difference.



if u have 7800 go, add 6 degrees for card temp.
