hi

i posted this question in another thread - i think it might get a more responses this way

is it possible for someone to give desktop screen shots of 5660's LCD with
1)UXGA (a 1600x1200 size image.....lol - just avoiding ambiguity)
2)SXGA+ (1400x1050 img)

that way i can get a somewhat clearer idea of what the icons/fonts look like

pctorque - since u put screenshots for ur review
maybe u can fulfill this request

thx in advance

I don't understand what you are trying to ask. Do you mean you want someone to take pictures of the LCD displays with a camera, or do you want a screenshot of the desktop?

Because if it's the latter that you want, it's not going to show you anything about how the screen will look. A camera pic of the LCD might help a little, but you should really see the displays in person to decide which one you like best.

My advice is to go to some place that sells lots of laptops and ask to see some SXGA+ and UXGA screens, and make sure the desktops are running in their native resolutions. Then you will be able to decide which you prefer.

lets just say where i live its not easy to find a store which has an array of laptops to view from - lol

yeah - i meant a screen capture of ur default desktop screen
it would show the size of the icons & their labels since they will remain in proportion on the image that u capture

all i need to know is how big they really look at 1600x1200 and 1400x1050 resolutions
