I just have a WRT45G and it works really good for gaming with the ports opened properly during gaming. One think i did notice about it tho if there is any thunderstorms of course it slows because of interference. Also one trouble i have had is disconnects when using dsl on it.

I've got a pos Dell 11mbps wireless router that it like 5 years old; and I don't have any problems with it.

I used to have a Dlink but it wasn't that great (it wasn't a switch; not the routers fault but not as good as the newer stuff). So I got Linksys WRT54G. Very nice. No problems!

Karma, was it the D-Link 4300 Gaming Router?
I am kinda torn between the Belkin Pre-N and the D-Link 4300 at this time.
The Linksys are only 54mbps Data rate while the Belkin and DLink I have in mind has 108mbps Data Rate.

No, this was years ago before the 4300 existed.

btw, you can only get the 108mbps is you have the router AND the right wireless card. In my opinion, it's not worth the hassle. Just focus on getting a good, universal router.
