popping noise when i am playing WMA files

hey guys,

i recently became a proud owner of a creative vision:M portable device. really like it (if you are looking for a portable media player for all kinds of audio & video, i highly recommend this device).

well, since i have that, i've subscribed to the yahoo music unlimited with downloads to portable devices. the problem that i'm having is that with the WMA (windows media audio?) files, i get these annoying popping noise whenever i play them. however, all of the mp3s that i have, they are crystal clear.

has anyone else experienced this issue? if so, how did you solve it?

just FYI: those WMA files play -just- fine on the creative player that i have. so those files can't be the problem..

thanks in advance!

I keep getting this popping noise out of the right side when I play Ghost Recon Advanced Warrior. I tried changing from hardware to software sound and a load of options. Didn't help.

When playing anything else it is fine though.

I had this popping noise during WMA files as well.
But then I realized it wasn't the player, but the popcorn in the microwave!
