Hi, I have a question. I have a 1 week old aspire 9504 that went bad. The front charging light stopped working and when I tried to take the battery out and use just the adapter, it would not power on. I checked the adapter w/ a volt meter and it tested ok (also tested it in another laptop) I think it fried my battery too (it looked as thought it was dropped when I took it out of the box, the battery that is). Has anyone else had this problem? How is acer support in the US? I shipped it to acer in temple, TX via ups overnight, it arrived on tuesday may, 2nd. I called to verify they did receive it (I had ups signature proof of a receiptionist) and they said they did as well as on line said they had it. I was just wondering that type of time frame I was looking at. They said 7 to 10 days,but I don't know if I trust them or not. Kind of upset that the laptop died after 1 week. If it is not back in 10 days, I will show them the meaning of HELL raiser
