My Dell service contract ends tomorrow 5/5/06

I have my Inspiron 8600 more than 2 yrs. So far so good. I was wondering if it's necessary to extend 1 yr contract for $79? Should i do it?

No. Save your money and wait for a good price on a new laptop.

I agree, save the money, when your ready to upgrade sell your current laptop then save a little cash and you have a nice new notebook. I personally don't buy extended warranties for laptops or desktops. I figure if they run fine after a year than everything should be ok if properly maintained.
