Wierdest thing ever just happened to my xpsm170

I have an xps m170 thats about 4 months old and i've never had any problems with it until about five minutes ago. Everything just froze and stopped working without warning, and the screen had these wierd diagonal squiggly lines across it. I posted a picture of what it looked like. I restarted the computer and it seems fine now, but I'm wondering what happened.

no i dont know why it would overheat, i haven't overclocked it and i havent played games on it or u used any intense graphics oriented programs in the last 2 months.

overheating would be my first guess.

Check your fan vents to make sure they are not all clogged up.

without knowing your temps i,d go with overheating looks just like a card overclocked too high [exactly]

try reinstalling your drivers and get the ones with the temp mon or use i8kfangui
