Another m5500 in the phase game

I'm another future owner of an m5500 but the phase game isn't fun to play, heh. Every day I check my status just to disappoint myself. Here's the specs of the system I bought.

I returned a Dell E1505 because I hated the performance of the x1400 and the thickness and entire look of the Dell Notebook so I'm going to stick with this Alienware. So far, the phases have been for me:

4/29 Phase 1
4/30 Phase 2
5/01 Phase 3
5/05 Phase 5
5/09 Phase 8
5/10 Phase 9
5/11 Phase 10

I gave them a phone call to see how the progress of my system is and they told me that the system is being put into production today. The Phase still hasn't changed so we'll see when that actually happens. Does anyone ever see Phase 4? I've always seen people's phases jump from 3 to 5. Oh well, guess I just have to be patient, heh.

looks like I got a little progress with my system now, after a call and 2 emails, my status moved up to Stage 5. Looks like I'll be in the Alienware brotherhood within a week

Just like N-kei, my system has moved up to Phase 8 too. Hopefully that means there's one a day or two left before it gets shipped out. My Thinkpad is starting to die on me so I'm yearning for a new laptop!

Well my order has stepped into Phase 9 but now I have a big problem on my hands. Apparently Alienware has double charged my card so now I'm going to have to go through the hassle of getting my card recredited. Hopefully they make it as painless as possible.

Well I called them this morning and it seems that they refunded the double charge on the 5th so we'll see if I see that refund on the next statement.

Anyways, now on the good side, my laptop and bluetooth adapter has shipped with May 17th as the est. arrival time. One more week to go!

I finally got my laptop today from good ol slow Fedex Home Delivery. Sadly I don't have much time to play with it today but it's working with no hitches so far.
