Fingerprint scanner? The A8Jm has a fingerprint scanner? I didn't know that! Are you sure?

Well spotted. Ive been to preoccupied with the Ctrl/Fn button to notice the backlash. Cant think of any other place they should have put it, though Im sure it will be cursed.

Yeah, it's not really a showstopper, but I imagine that it can be very annoying.

Asus needs to make a 15.4 that looks like this, all of their other designs look bad compared to major brands

Not the same, but its better indeed But it support HDMI, it would be super expensive.

I have to agree. Most of the new Core Duo notebooks that Asus has made don't really suit my fancy. The PM notebook designs were much better, with a few exceptions for the new ones, of course. (W3J, W1J, etc.)

I have question for you guys, when i go here
http://store.agearnotebooks.com/asusw3v.html

W3V = Pentium M processor & ATI x600 GPU
W3J = Core Duo / Core 2 Duo processor & ATI x1600 GPU

the "v" is last year's model & the "j" is this year's model. Consequently, the "v" should be less expensive.
