8887 booting problem

i just reinstalled windows and it keeps asking to boot from the cd. i changed the bios to boot first from the hardrive but i keep being prompted to use the cd. help

Your having boot problems, my co-woker has the 8887 and it takes him about 5 boots to get his mouse to work. Anyone know what might the problem might be?

sounds bad but i need help with my computer. i just installed windows but it keeps askin me to insert a boot cd when i restart.???????? any advice

Can you post a copy of your boot.ini file?
