XTreme-G MobileForce 84.37-v2.40 AND 84.56-v2.40 RELEASED!!! - Page 2

hey do they support ghost recon 3?
The 56s are hotter than the 25s I upgraded from.

But nothing major. I used to idle at ~38-40, now it's hovering around 47-48.

...however, it IS getting hotter around here as well, which is raising the ambient temp. Plus I need to get around to installing my 7800GTX after the 15th when my exams are finally over.

I disagree. Just went from the 25's to the 56's and my GPU idle temp dropped 3-4C (my ambient temp stayed the same). I gained 10 points on 3dmark06 too. So far, so good! Thanks Tony, rep for you.

84.56 --- new 3dmark2005 score : 7039

old score with the 84.25 drivers was : 7028

about the same :\ a gain is a gain though ahah

As always, Tony wins five free internets.

Any thoughts on why my 06 scores are so LOW!!

so glad to have you back brother. I got the parts to repair my computer on friday and was glad to have some new driver sets to test out after two weeks with no laptop. Always fun to test drivers. Haven't done much hardcore testing (just got into WoW, so I've been playing that almost constantly..) but they both work well as always.. Haven't noticed much in the IQ department, but I dont really remember how my previous set looked. With the 84.56 set, moving objects seem to have more jagged edges than usual, but otherwise they look great. Thanks as always for something new to test.

I like the 84.56 drivers and recommend them highly. I used the 84.25s and liked those a lot as well, but the 84.56 version seems to have taken care of the bulk of my hard crashes in Dungeon Siege 2 and the image quality is very good.

I am using the laptopvideo2go version, but I am confident that Tony's are good as well. Whatever version you like best, go for it.

LOL. TY TY.

This was a fairly large project for this set of tweaks (A.K.A. TweakSet). I randomly named it Project Superxero, just cuz. I'm glad people are likin' them, and I'm doin some troubleshooting now with my friends M1710 to see if I can reproduce the couple of problems that have been had, and I'll let you all know my results as soon as I get them, along with possible solutions either way...

I noticed this too on my S-Video out to a NTSC TV. Here is how I fixed it.

nView Display Setting > click on the TV devcie > Device Setting > Change resolution > Advanced Timed > Change "Timing standard" to "Discret Monitor Timing (DMT)" > Apply

But I seriously don't know what I am doing. The output just works. There could be some negative effects. Hopefully, some expert can comment on the issue.

driver is good, but temp raise noticeably.

i tried using this on my new M1710, my score went down to 7400. Then installed the driver that came on CD and it went back up to 7849. anyone know if that's the average score for this Laptop and Video card?

any info would be much appreciated!. Thank you.

Note: I did clean installed and it seems that my games slowed down, i dont know why

Try setting your image preferences to High Performance vs. High Quality. That could explain the disparency.
is it better to put it on high performance or high quality?

also anyone know about mixing drivers with OCing?
I noticed on the 84.37 drivers it kept going back to single laptop monitor after a reboot. Even though I set it to cloned with two displays. Not a real biggie i'm just a keystroke Fn+F5 to get the second display working. I also noticed a major decrease in performance in BF2SF. Maybe because I only got 1GB of memory because my other 1GB stick Died. I will only know once I get my replacement.

So... How's everyone doin with the drivers? I've gotten some e-mails about some issues, but have been able to resolve them fairly quickly, so nothing major has popped up that I've seen. Just wanting to check up...

Also, since my birthday's comin up (5-24), I may be getting my laptop back soon, as all agreements between me and my dad have been met for the most part (now that I have a steady job at QuikTrip here). So that's good news. I'm not gonna ask for any Happy Birthday donations, as it is not logical, but if anyone wants to, by all means. I'm working on something new already, and it's an evolution, not a revolution. I'm contemplating releasing a Vista driver or two as well, and it's all in the works with my new project: Pr0j3k7 3v01u7|0n (Project Evolution). It's only in the early stages yet, but it's in the works nontheless...

EDIT

Got a little teaser for you guys... The Official name for the Vista series of the MobileForce driver... XTreme-G MobileForce VS XX.XX-vX.XX

The VS series will be ONLY Vista drivers, and will most likely use the as yet unseen TweakSet 3.0. Though I will NOT be releasing TweakSet 3.0 until Vista launches, and I have good time to sit down and test on shipping Vista code, it's already in the works, and at this point, I would say VERY early Alpha stages. But I'm doing stuff now on my desktop with Vista 5381 (a friend downloaded it for me) so I am working on it .

Just a little teaser to keep you all wanting more , LOL.

Heya Tony, thats good news. Hope it all goes well for you.

Question: Does your drivers support the new Quadro 2500 in the m90?
