Ok... is this card worth the extra cash.. and... which laptop companies even offer this card?


Looking for a good deal on a 17in etertainment type laptop with tv tuner and extra sweet video card.

any help appreciated.

Maybe the 512 isn't worth the extra effort... ?? anyone bueller? bueller?

yeah it worth it.. the dell xps 1710 is the only laptop that has it... if you wanna buy get the dell xps 1710 and call dell and get 650 $ off if you call them

The 512 is worth it.

There have been claims that if you call dell and tell them you know someone that got a discount, say $650, then they will give it to you too, just to make the sale. Don't know if this is true, but thats the rumor.

I can't believe Dell is that hard up to sell their higher end systems; but who knows they may have had a bad Q1.
