No problem with cod2 or fs 2004. The cooler works great however someone suggested reversing the flow but personally I don't think this is necessary. http://www.pcabusers.com/reviews/antec/notebookcooler/p1.htm

My accessory list. Logitech V200 notebook mouse - must have Logitech MX3000 cordless keyboard and mouse - optional Notebook surge protector - must have Logitech notebook web cam - optional (if you want a very portable one) Notebook lock - optional I'm not recommended Logitech over another brand but I must admit being bias toward Logitech.

kinda, the intel core duo is not a 64 bit processor so you have to use the most basic vista version which is 32 bit the rest are 64 bit (there are 12 versions of vista), you win some you lose some

I had a A105-6014 and I was so disappointed how they had all the necessary equipment for the lights under the speakers but didn't activate them, I mean if everything is there why not just activate it!

Are you sure about that? I heard that all the vista flavors will come in 32 and 64 bit versions.

I stand corrected, from wikipedia
On February 26, 2006, Microsoft announced that Windows Vista will ship in six editions[6]. All versions will be available in both 32-bit x86 and 64-bit architectures, except Windows Vista Starter which will only be available in 32-bit. The following details the various editions and the features that each will offer. There is more information about the release of Windows Vista at the official website.

I guess I haven't looked into vista lately, last I heard only the starter was going to be 32bit everything else would be 64 bit, this is good news, that means I can get the highest version of vista on my lappy! but I might hang back, install vista on my athlon 64 system and keep media center edition 2005 on my laptop just incase there are some early compatibility issues with things, it will be my backup

Your statement is somewhat misleading. If you review the Vista requirements on Microsoft's website and then check the hardware requirements, then technically this notebook is fully Vista compliant. Vista running on a 32 bit or 64 bit processor isn't going to make that much difference in how Vista works except from a performance standpoint and you'll have the same features in both. The most important requirement in order to enjoy the Vista experience is the graphics capability of your gpu. Now this is what Mr. Bill is saying, not me.

Really nice pictures - I couldn't really find any personal photographs of this laptop online, the only things that came up were what CNET and similar had to offer. Anyway, thank you! Your shots helped me make up my mind - I looked at them and afterwards placed an order with Costco for the S921 ...should take a week or two to get here.

How are you finding the quality/brightness of the screen so far? I can't find the contrast ratio for it's display anywhere...maybe you might know?

Thanks again!

You are going to love this notebook! The lcd is is by far one of the best I've seen on a notebook. As for the contrast you will have to use the nvidia display properties for that setting and other brightness settings. You're lucky to still get this notebook because is seems to have disappeared from Toshiba website and other retailers. Let me know what you think after playing with it for a few weeks.

my old satellite 3005-s307 is on its last leg.. the monitor is dead, the lcd external monitor its hooked up to is dying, the keys are starting to stick, and it sometimes wont boot. So its time for me to get a new one. I have been waiting for a new machine to come out. this looks like it is going to take my ticket. I will miss the 1.13 Ghz and First or second Generation GeForce Go card.. 16 meg. and my whopping 512mb of RAM. sniff sniff.... Can't wait to get this machines. Y'all helped convince me thanks.... onlything is that my desktop will be jealous.

Mooney what do you do for a living?

AMD 3800 Venice
EVGA AV8-SLI MB

Is there any way you could post a picture without the cooler (a side view)? I was wondering what the profile looked like on a surface. I can't seem to find any pics of that, just side views with a white backround. Thanx. Great pictures though. Looks very sexy.

Hi , I have Toshiba P105-S6014 and I dont see those nice glowing edges just below speakers. Do you know if S6014 doesn't have diods under speakers , or is there any way to enable them?
