Hey pLAythING,
I would use the computer for a few days to make sure it's working properly, this gives you a chance to kick the tires as it were, and contact Dell before the 21 day return policy ends if you end up with a lemon.
First thing is go to Dell's support site and download all the proper drivers for your notebook. I usually burn them to a cd, you may want to include some other downloaded appz you normally use as well. The media direct partition is hidden so unless your going out of you way to remove it you can't, but you will have to run the media direct repair utility (also located on the Dell support site)
As far as the rest here is a link to a really good FAQ concerning reformating.
