Hey guys, here's just a quick photo review of my new Viewsonic 32" LCD HDTV. Bought it at Costco for $999 Canadian. Check out how the TV makes a dwarf out of my 15.4 inch Travemate 8100.

Specs: 32", HDMI, SRS WoW, 12 ms response time, $999 CAD, One year NO QUESTIONS ASKED Costco return policy.

Sorry for the shitty pictures you guys!

Anyway on to the show~!

Havent gamed on it using my laptop, typically (i've heard neigh impossible) it's difficult to open up a game full screen on a secondary monitor. There are ways with specific games but I havent played BF2 on it. When I hook it up I usually play video's on it.

I'll try it sometime though, I'm planning on building an HTPC just for the monitor.

Edit: Well I just played a game of Battle of Middle earth 2 on the TV, it was fantastic. I had it set up as a mirror from my laptop and just closed the lid for my 8100.

Awesome, I totally recommend it. I think this TV is the most fully decked out 32" HDTV for this pricepoint.

I challenge someone to show me a 32" LCD HDTV, 12 MS response time, has HDMI, SRS WoW, $1000 dollars (CAD) and a one year no questions asked return policy (Costco).

You suck! I've got a 32" Victor/JVC. Paid 200,000 yen for it (after getting 'em down 30,000 yen). Pretty much the cheapest deal to be had, too. Looking @ N. American prices drives me crazy

Glad to see you got a nice unit

Yeah when I was in Japan I was shopping for a 32" LCD HDTV too (Got back about 4 months ago). I'll be heading back to Japan in the next year or two and hopefully I'll bring my unit with me. I dont want to pay sanjuman yen for it or yonjuman. Blah.
