I need to reformat my primary hard drive

Hi. I just got a major computer virus. It turned of cmd and system restore. I need to delete or reformat my C drive. I do not have a floppy drive, but I do have a cd burner and a usb drive. I heard that i need to put the drivers on the cd or usb drive. How do i do that? I need help fast. Please help.

if i were you i would use a different pc to put the files onto a cd or usb drive.
if you try to use your infected sytem to do this it might transfer the virus over to your cd or usb drive.
