Question regarding Sending 8204 for repair

Hi-I received my 8204 last Friday and due to Buzzing sound/Bad OrbiCam ACER has asked me to send back the unit for repair. Does anybody know whether I just need to send back the laptop without any power cord, battery, VOIP Phone etc. OR do I send back the whole PACKAGE? I tried calling ACER today but I just get voicemail and I want to mail it first thing tomorrow morning. Any pointers will be appreciated.

When I sent in mine, they told me to send in the computer itself, the battery, and the power supply all separate from eachother.

Don't send them the original box or anything like that, they keep it! I also had a few scratches put into the lid of my unit. Their service is terrible. Hope things go better for you. (and i sent everything in btw).

Thanks Guys, but I am still not sure from the response whether I JUST send in the notebook WITHOUT battery/power cord/cardphone OR WITH battery/powercord/cardphone?

Hi, I've only ever sent in the laptop minus everything else whenever I've dealt with a service return. You don't memtion what country you're in but here in the UK I've always had excellent service....

I used Fixmyacer.com and they give explicit instructions on how to package the laptop if you want to keep the original carton, and they also state to send in ONLY the laptop (no adapters, etc) and include a copy of the repair ref# and any passwords required to get into the system.
