open the keyboard?

Ok, I wanna get under the keyboard to check out the wireless card, but cant figure out how to get the keyboard up. AW sent me the word file saying to use a saftey pin ove by the esc key..but I cant seem to figure it out...someone who has done this please lemme know how its done!

There are two latches, one left and one right. You use the saftey pin or other shuch object and you press the little tabs towards the keyboard. If your luck it will just pop up, otherwise you may need a third hand.

I must be blind, cuz I cant see where the latches are...is there an indent or something I should be seeing?

It took me a bit to realize where they are too. Try a very bright light. They are just above the F1 and num lock keys. They are quite small and down in the groove, so look closely.

well if you have the 766 you will have 3 latches... one in f1, other on f8 and other on num lock... you have to be very carefull with that... 'cause if you brake it..... the better way us using a little knife of a flat screw driver...

Ohhhhhh, I thought it was like in the corner by the ESC key...So I get a flat knife in there and push towards the middle of the keyboard to pop it out?

yep... I double check and is f1 - f8 and num lock
