Normalizing Audio?

Thread Starter
Can anyone recommend a good program for normalizing audio files?

Here's why I need it: I'm doing a favour for a friend by DJ'ing his wedding
soon. Need to put together a playlist from a bunch of mp3's, but they've
all been encoded differently and I want equal sound levels across the board.
Looking for a good program so that I can load all of the MP3's into a batch
and normalize the volume so it makes duplicate audio files in a separate folder
of my choosing. I could use Sorenson Squeeze but is anything better/faster?

Thanks.

The beta version of Audacity I believe can do this, dont know about it being faster.

If you truly want fast, well all the solutions I would have then only run on Windows, or possibly Mac, sorry.
