Hey sup yall, my first time in these forums and ive been reading a lot from this website about the m505x and other notebooks. I got my m505x this past december. I have a question regarding counterstrike, I put 1.5 on my notebook cause i dont wanna put 1.6 yet until i get this problem figured out. Everytime I play, it freezes up for like a millisecond and also the keyboard gets stuck and my mouse doest react the way it should. For example as i strafe left sometimes it keeps going and when i try to move my mouse it doesnt move sometimes, so if anyone can help me out that would be great...thanks

Does it keep on strafing left when you hold the strafe button while you are buying your weapons? Also, try not to hold tab, and then strafe into a different direction. Holding a lot of buttons down on a laptop at the same time confuses the poor little laptop, and CS, and things start to get weird. I'd just get 1.6, most glitches have been fixed already.

This might be an XP issue for games even as recent as CS. Try using the compatibility feature and designate the CS app to run compatible with Windows 98. If it's an operating system issue, this will fix it. You might want to post in the more popular 505 thread...we all check in pretty frequently.

^^^ that's the link to the main thread. if the compatibility fix doesnt work, and i think it very well might, post your question there. it's a 505 bonanza.

fyi: i had exactly the issues you're talking about with rogue spear. the compatibility fix worked like a charm.

The ms is miliseconds, or your ping. So when you are in a battle, your internet connection might be failing.
