Aviator Bios Flash (AX6)

Has anyone attempted the Mitac 8355 1-06-2006 bios on their AX6?

I have been interested in fixing this memory divider they have, and the bios update seems like the best bet.

Anyone else with AX6's have their memory at CPU/14?

My 3400 at 2.2 yields 157.14 on CPU-Z, and it bugs me alot. A64 Tweaker can sometimes force near 1:1 (which improved Super Pi times considerably) but at the loss of system stability.

TIA

Probably time for a bump on this thread. Will a normal dos bios flash work? I have a USB floppy drive here somewhere.

Not sure about the divider issue. But the BIOS flash might be able to be written to a bootable CD. Just a thought.

I shall have to try it, eventually. I have had minor luck tweaking the divider with A64 tweaker, but not stable. The ram is PC3200, the chipset and processor can swing the 200 FSB no sweat, but there is that pesky integer divider for some reason.

Currently 2200/14 = 157 MHz FSB...could always upgrade to a Newark 4000 and bring the mem speed up to 2600/14 = ~185

Thank you for the reply Dranzaz!
