Clevo D900k CPU Temperature FX-57 to high?

Clevo D900k w/AMD FX-57 CPU

I think my CPU temperature of 56C idle at 72C Room Temperature is a bit on the high side or am I wrong?

Anyone with a Clevo shell based laptop and a FX-57 (or FX-55) please post your temps. Thanks!

is that with as5 or stock thermal pad?

also try hitting fn+f2 when stressing the system

Yes, it's as5. Tried ceramique too but didn't make any difference. I searched google up and down and wasn't able to find any type of fan control software for this laptop either. I do use the fn+f2 when gaming but it's loud.

that is about the same as others with fx porcessors if you go to teh sager section, it is not easy to cool a 115w processor in a confined space

and getthermal?

it may void your warrenty though, ive heard sager doesnt like it

Have you thought about trying to use a program such as RMClock? That way you can adjust the voltage amount going to the CPU.

I'm assuming it would work with the Clevo D900k. I know the program supports most AMD CPUs and I myself use it on my Sony laptop (Intel CPU).

Couldn't find "GetThermal" on the net and the links I found here seem do be broken. I will look for "RM Clock". If you have direct links (which work) for any of these programs (especially for "getthermal") please post them.

I don't worry about the warranty to much.

Still would like to hear from people which using the same processor in the Clevo. Curious if temps are similar.

What about using a laptop cooler? I started using one for my D470K when 1 hour sessions on WoW would cause the system to start getting jittery from heat.
