The RAM is hotter then the CPU most times, and it's smack dab in the middle
That is an error caused by some older versions of FanGui, where the RAM & GPU temps are (incorrectly) switched around.
FanGUI 2.20 corrects this; my memory NEVER gets above 46 C.

Your experience has given me the confidence to give it a try, will let you know how things turned out.

Btw. about the temperatures I posted. They probably go higher, but FanGui doesn't report above 100ºC ...

..... How long does it take the copper to clean.......?

Finally got hold of the copper plate (not as easy in Norway as Bay-Wolf describes in the guide).

Currently waiting for it to clean. Smeared it with paste last night, gave it a rub this morning. Since it didn't look as nice and shiny as the one in Bay-Wolf's pics I'm doing it again.

i noticed that it looks really like silver but its cause of glare from the light i just cleaned it with the paste and then my dad had some braso that he used and it worked a lot faster and when compared to the original copper it looks much light but nothing like the pic and way it works great for me remember clean it with alcohol or the other stuff like posted before u put it together

I'm a happy Banana !

Modded the 5650 on saturday, didn't have any time to put the card to the test until yesterday.

The GPU is now running at 75-80°C! (Running BfV, previous temps were well in excess of 100°C)

I'll post a before/after pic when I get home tonight.

Thanks for everones help.

Btw Nitz: Which drivers are you using? Omega's 56.72 Performance drivers maybe? What settings do you use?
