I have no doubt that had my experience been like yours I would feel the same way, or perhaps be even angrier. I do find it annoying though that Alienware somehow has two email addresses for me, and whenever I do anything that requires the email address I have to guess which one they want me to use... Their organizational and communications have a lot of room for improvement in some cases.
My story now gets better.
Half the time I try to shut down the machine, it reboots. And whenever I restart the machine, it just shuts down.
I am really, REALLY hoping that it is a SW issue, and not a HW interface issue, since at this point I am pretty much done.
And to top it all off, the damage to the chassis, the damage that AW admits was on them... they can't fix because they are out of the chassis. At this point, I will buy them the chassis if they fix the damn thing. Instead? a $25 gift certificate.
You heard me right... $25.
Don't get me wrong, it's nice that AW is doing anything, but let's be honest people... this is just bad cricket.
Despite how much I love them, they are making it much easier to walk away from them, although I have to hand it to my rep. Once he was shacked to me (the original guy went on vacation), he busted his ass to try and make things right.
So, points added for personnel, but points subtracted for response to a bad situation.
Hmmnn... makes me wonder if the guys from Smooth Creations could get me one
