New ASUS models

Thread Starter
Hello everyone, I have a Question that may have been asked here but i have yet to find the answer.
I see alot of information here (very helpful and great forum by the way) about new ASUS notebook models like the new duo core., but i dont find that info anyplace else. Its not on their website yet and distributors/suppliers havent heard of them. Where does this info come from? How do you find out about a newly released unadvertized model?
Very curious because I just got a Z71v and now im seeing duo core stuff in the size i lke (15.4).

thx for any help

All our information comes from Asus resellers, like c9tech and GenTech. Asus gives them a heads-up and they pass it on to us. Sasha or Ken would be able to explain better, though.

For the specs, if it doesn't come with the built-in webcame I'll probably get it for myself, I personally like AMD Turion64 too, sadly, all new Asus AMD notebooks has a built-in webcam that a lot places does not allow.

Seems GenTechPC has to wait till the NDA ends next week.

Good news is there will be some high quality chipsets for the Turion platforms, NVIDIA already announced their nForce Go 430

and that is a farcry from anything VIA can offer.
